At my school we have so many opportunities to serve. Well a mission trip we are taking in Feb. is to the Olympics to serve with a ministry called More Than Gold. At first when I asked I was told no, but after the teacher extended the deadline for applications I decided to give it another try and this time my dad said okay but I had to raise the majority of the money. So I was crazy stressed about a week ago and I asked God for a miracle and the next day my teacher told me there was $200 in my missions account for the trip. It could only be God because we were always careful to pay the exact amount no more no less on previous mission trips. Tonight at choir my choir director handed me a check for $50 for the mission trip. God is good.
By the way there is something amazing about lifting praises to God with a huge group that is like a family. It is amazing how close I feel towards my choir considering the majority of the choir is much older than me. God is so cool.

How much?
Think for a moment if you will about how much everything you do costs. Last night, for example, I went to Target and bought a new purse for $16. Now think about how much it would cost to sponsor a poor child in a foreign country, that is approximately $32 - $40 dollars a month (compassion international), or a little more than a dollar a day. Do you drink soda? Do you buy a new water bottle every day? Now I am just as guilty as the next about that so I hope you don't think I am judging, however I want you to think about how much we could change the world if we stepped a little out of our comfort zone.
Pro-lifers out there don't forget tomorrow, October 20th, is the national day of silence so dress in red and give up your voice (if possible) by putting red duct tape on your mouth and write life on it. Give up your voice for one day for those who will never have one.
What do you say do you think you can let go of your comfortable little bubble for someone else?
